Our Vision Statement

British Values

We ensure that through our vision, values, rules, curriculum and teaching we promote tolerance and respect for all cultures, faiths and lifestyles. We have a duty to prepare our children for life in modern Britain and to keep them safe.  As a school, we value the diverse ethnic backgrounds of all pupils and families; we undertake a variety of events and lessons to celebrate these. We have found this approach to be enriching for all parties as it teaches tolerance and respect for the differences in our community and the wider world. Underpinning all this are a range of curriculum topics which have strong links to British History.

OUR VISION STATEMENT

Shakespeare Primary School is a place where individual differences are valued, where varying needs and each person's potential to learn and grow is realised.

We expect excellence in all aspects of school life and we are committed to the highest standards for all.

We respect ourselves, each other and our environment, striving together to prepare for a challenging future.

We aim to ensure that our children leave us as self-motivated, confident individuals, who embrace lifelong learning, appreciate and reflect on the world around them and make a worthwhile contribution to society.
