  • YEAR 4 Football Runners up 2024

    Tue 16 Jul 2024

A tremendous effort, fantastic attitude and amazing display from our team this afternoon. After playing each team, our footballers made it to the final just narrowly missing out on the big prize. They showed great team work and we thank them for wearing our Shakespeare shirt with such pride. Another fantastic achievement this year.

A big thank you to parent/carers for your support and to Mr Hobley an Miss Clarke for organising.

  • Rounders Runner Up 2024

    Tue 16 Jul 2024

Another huge success this afternoon! After 6 amazing games and a lot of hard work in training (in their own holidays) they've come away with silver medals. Brilliant conduct, great throwing and catching skills and excellent team skills. A brilliant afternoon out. A massive thank you as ever to our parent/carers for your support. A big thankyou to Rossall School for hosting and organising.

  • Wyre and Fylde Girls Cricket Champions 2024!! County Finalists!!

    Tue 16 Jul 2024

Wow, Wow, Wow!! What a year! These pictures sum up everthing this year in our school and an unbelievable afternoon in the glorious weather. Our girls were incredible. Just like our mixed team earlier in the week, these fab ladies have practised over and over and over in P.E lessons in our school club to get their overarm bowling and battling to the highest standard they could. No aim this afternoon other than to have fun, keep developing our fielding and work as a team. They practised so hard that they finished up winning the whole event.

Lancashire County Finals here we come!!!!

A massive thank you to our parent / carers for your support. Well done to the Millfield leaders including one of our previous students. Thankyou to Steve Pemberton, all the coaches and Mr Cadwallader for a fab event as usual.

  • Wyre Area Mixed Cricket Champions of Champions 2024.

    Tue 16 Jul 2024

After their shared Fleetwood area win with St Wulstans, it was a repeat final once again with our amazing team edging it this time by a close 2 runs. They've matched our girls cricket winners by claiming a top 20 finish in Lancashire. Unfortunately this team can't make it to the county finals (simply due to the unbelievable year we are having where dates are now clashing left, right and centre) but they have had an ace time, shown all the usual sporting qualities we would expect and performed with amazing skill. Another shout out to our fab parents, the Wyre and Fylde Sports Partnership, Mr Cadwallader and the amazing sports leaders/umpires.

The ladies at the baths said their behaviour was impeccable and their listening skills outstanding. This has taken a monumental effort to organise so thank you to Cheryl, Dawn and Emily at YMCS Fleetwood. A huge thank you to our EYFS teachers, support staff, Heather, Mrs Slater and Mr Twist.

  • Lancashire School Games Gold Award 2023-2024

    Tue 16 Jul 2024

Our school has achieved it's Lancashire School Games Gold award for its fourth consecutive year. This year has been phenomenal. Working alongside our amazing PAL leaders in year 6, we managed over the full course of an acedemic year to get every child in our school to take part in a third hour of curriculum P.E on top of the two hours we already complete in a school week. Our outstanding PAL leaders work in all year groups to inspire, motivate and help develop skills that advance each child's personal best targets. We have managed to achieve a 100% pass rate for getting children involved with either a level 1 competition or at a level 2. We have also reached level 3 in athletics and cricket.
