Well done to everyone for your efforts with home learning. We have been very impressed by the standard of work we have seen across school. Here is just a small example of what has been happening.

Year 5 Athletics Champions 2020 - 2021. Athletics Wyre and Fylde 3rd place. 40th place in Lancashire County.

Our amazing year 5 bubble has won the Fleetwood school's athletics competition which we completed as our P.E lesson back at the start of the school year. Not only was our score good enough to win the Wyre section, it was also good enough to finish 3rd in the Wyre and Fylde competition - unbelievable! Not only that but it also gave us an incredible 40th place finish in the Lancashire county final standings. Thoroughly deserved after all your hard work and for continuing to push your personal bests.

Thank you to everyone who came in Christmas clothes today. We have helped raise a lot of money for Brian House.

Our Christmas displays and decorations are all based on the Snow Dragon by Abi Elphinstone and Fiona Woodcock. Children have loved reading the story and completing their work about the characters.

Happy Anti-Bullying week everyone. Children have been wearing odd socks and colouring paper socks to remind each other of the importance of treating each other kindly.

Thank you for all the kind donations for this year's Remembrance Day. Children have painted their pebbles with poppies, which are on display at the front of school.

Children have been making patterns with wax crayons to resist dye on fabric this week.

Children in Year Five have been learning to add perspective to their drawings today.

Some beautiful maths work from Year 5 today. We have been thinking about our presentation when using written methods.

This week we have been using paint to create textured colour for a beach background.

Children have been completing the Lancashire Active Mile during their PE session today.

Welcome to Year 5. It has been so lovely to meet our new classes this last week. Please have a look at some of the artwork the children have created.
