Home Page Shakespeare Primary School “It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.” William Shakespeare

We planted some seeds!

In science we have been learning about plants. We dissected a flower to identify the different parts.

Come on England!

In English we have been focussing on a book called Flotsam by David Weisner. The book has no text so we have been putting the pages in our own order and sharing our ideas about the story with our friends.

In our Science lessons we have been learning about fossils, rocks and their properties.

Some of us have overcome our fears and nerves and performed in the Year 3 Talent Show!

We are improving our basketball skills in PE.

We are loving learning about life in Ancient Egypt and making our own notes about the process of Mummification!

We really enjoy working as a group in our comprehension lessons!

Well done to everyone for your efforts with home learning. We have been very impressed by the standard of work we have seen across school. Here is just a small example of what has been happening.

Year 3 Athletics Champions 2020 - 2021. Athletics Wyre and Fylde Champions. 30th place in Lancashire County.

Our amazing year 3 bubble has won the Fleetwood school's athletics competition which we completed as our P.E lesson back at the start of the school year. Not only was our score good enough to win the Wyre section, it was also good enough to finish 1st in the Wyre and Fylde competition (for the first time ever for our school!) - unbelievable! Not only that but it also gave us an incredible 30th place finish in the Lancashire county final standings. Thoroughly deserved after all your hard work and for continuing to push your personal bests.

Here are our cool, Frozen-themed Christmas displays and decorations
