We have created our own salads (and eaten them) as part of our learning for the Fleetwood Young Chef of the Year scheme.
Children enjoyed dancing in the world famous Blackpool Tower ballroom. We have had several comments and messages back to school from members of the public saying what a credit to us our children are.
Year 5 have taken part in the Summer Play at the Marine Hall this week. Thank you to all parents and carers for the amazing costumes you provided.
Year Five have visited Wimbledon and seen the tennis. We have also been seeing the sights in London.
As part of our learning for Fleetwood Young Chef of the Year children went to Fleetwood High to cook a three course meal.
Well done to our quiz team who came second in Fleetwood High's Eggheads Quiz.
In Year 5 we have been learning outside this week (both in Maths and English).
Congratulations to our Year 5 model pupils 2019. Voted for by the children and staff, they will go on to be our head boys and girls (and deputy head boys and girls) next year.
As part of our learning for mental health awareness week we discussed methods we could use to cope with anxiety (which we wrote down on fortune tellers). We also learned to meditate.

Our food hygiene training certified salad bar helpers have been helping the infants eat more healthy fruit and veg.

Children have really enjoyed making their egg creations on this year's Egg Day.
The children have enjoyed learning about the dangers of alcohol and smoking in the Life Education Bus.
