Mental Health Awareness Week runs from Monday 10 May to Sunday 16 May 2021.

This year's theme is nature and the Mental Health Foundation have been exploring the positive impact nature and being outdoors has on our mental health. Watch the video below for some ideas on how to connect with nature.

We all know what a difficult year we've had and school also recognise that the children are moving through their natural developmental milestones too. You might find that particularly around the ages 8 and 9 there are changes in your child's behaviour and attitude. This is a major transition as they stand on the cusp of adolescence and every child will go through this. If you wish to know more about this you can contact Clare or have a look online.

Remember that it is ok to not be ok.

Use the five ways to wellbeing, reach out, talk to someone, you're not alone in this and remember we are a family at Shakespeare and we're here for you whenever you need us.
