Welcome to Reception!

Your teacher will very soon be filling this page with exciting class news, pictures of things we've done and more.
Do you have any ideas for this page? Why not let your teacher know!
Have you seen the Kids' Zone? Play games and visit some cool websites. You can vote for your favourites.

Please see attached PDF for a brief 'Parent's Guide to the Early Years Foundation Stage'. If you have any other questions or would like a more in depth explanation, then feel free to pop in and see either myself or Miss Hayton. Thank you, Miss Mooney :-)

At Shakespeare school we teach phonics using RWI. Following this link will take you to the RWI webpage where there is an abundance of training videos to watch. Following the advice they give will help you to support your child at home.

Miss Hayton and I will be hosting a RWI informative parent session next Thursday the 21st of September at 3.30pm. Please come along.

We've already settled really well into the Shakespeare family life. Go us!

Take a look at this super Phonic teaching resource. We love it! Its completely free, just sign up and away you go!

We've loved learning all about ourselves and our feelings. We have been reading a book called 'The Colour Monster'. We've had an abundance of learning experiences and opportunities linked to the story. We've also been getting lots of physical development practice too!
